(Certifying doctor) Inquest | 3 Nov 1909 | (Deceased) Thomas P. Holten; Grenfell, NSW; > Coroner Mr John Taylor held an Inquest on Wed 3 Nov 1909. The deceased's body was found about 7:30pm on 2 Nov 1909, a few yards off the road on some vacant land at the One Mile. Constables Twemlow and Ford had examined the body and found no marks of violence or suspicious circumstances. Dr Rygate had examined the body and found no marks of violence about the place [of death] or any signs of disturbance, and no marks of violence on the body; he believed death was due to heart failure. The Coroner found, on the basis of medical evidence from Dr Rygate, that death occurred about 7:00 pm, probably due to heart failure.8 |
