Extract from Obituary in Grenfell Record, 12 Dec 1932, page 2:
     The death occurred suddenly from heart failure on Thursday [8 Dec 1932] of Mr William Alfred Hall, at the age of 75 years.
     Deceased, who was born at Sydney, had been about these parts since 1885, and took up land near the cemetery in 1901. He married Miss Hampton, and leaves a widow and grown-up family, Messrs Joe, Herb., Alf., Bob and Victor Hall, Mrs A. Traill and Mrs D. Anderson, junr, being daughters.
     One boy — Rheuben — was killed at the war.
      ...
